Reply 1988 has always been one of my favorite shows, for its warm portrayal of ordinary neighborhood life. Walking through the recreated streets of 1970s and 80s Seoul at the National Folk Museum of Korea felt strangely familiar, as if I had stepped into a place I had known through a screen.
